Bjorn's statement/requirement for Commit Messages ?

I know I have seen it around here on some link somewhere. If you find it ... can we "edit" it into an existing Coding Guidelines or existing other prominent document ?

I still can't find it. Not in my email or PMs.

There are lot of helpful threads here. I'm saying that since COMMIT messages seem in fact to be as important as careful source code ... I should be able to go to the forum and hit search on "commit message" and then find the information I need.

Micheus ... can you help me ?

Anyways ... this is where I did look for it also ...
