moving vertex to a vertex point in other object

Hi, i want to edit some object so it's vertex get constrained to vertex in another object (make the edited vertex has same coordinates with another vertex).. is there a simple way to do it?

In Vertex selection mode [V] use the context menu option: Absolute Command->Snap

(1) Select the first vertex
(2) RMB click on Scale Uniform (keep an eye on info line)
(3) Select the second vertex and Execute
(4) Move the mouse until 0% (see this value at top left area, below "File"): use Shift to force 0%
