Mark hello... below I put some video links from some new tools that appeared recently. They are very interesting... they do deal with the so important modelling issue of producing natural looking boolean results. 'Mesh fusion' is a product of the authors of Groboto (it is a plugin for Modo) and the other one, 'Hard Mesh', is for Maya. As you will see both plugins are focused intensely on filleting and chamfering in a successful way the boolean seams.

It seems to me that we too can implement some such operations (very simple variations of them at least) in Wings. What do you think? Share your thoughts please.

Modo video looks really cool.

Probably hard to compete or even touch that in a modest way with wings/mlab. This is a nice soup-to-nuts treatment of what you have been looking for.

I hope Santa will bring you Modo in 2014.

Well, maybe Santa's wish is to see Wings even more powerful in the year to come. It is a possibility after all... we have to be open to it. : - )
