Can not input numbers on the keyboard

Hi,

I have this issue on wings3D from some time, on all versions I could get my hands on. Not sure if this is only related to wings or if my setup is wrong, but I can not enter any number on wings3D.

Keyboard inputs (the rest) are ok, but trying to input numbers on the regular keys (up the keyboard), result in the lowercase version of key (I am a french keyboard user). That is :

instead of typing 1 i get &, (on the French keyboard). Same issue with the numpad.

I tried using my bepo layout, but I get the same result as well.

I get that issue on all the version I tried :

1.5.2
1.4.1
1.2-1

My setup :

Linux amd64 debian, french keyboard + one bepo keyboard.

I tried the builtin laptop keyboard (that have numerical keypad), an external keyboard (typematrix), all in all, impossible to input any number …

Any hint or debug clue would be grealty appreciated.
