where are precompiled wings linux binaries?

A long time ago (back before this forum died) I was told about a Linux binary that would just run on Linux by clicking on it

In the OLD dead forum there is this your thread: installation of Wings, but it doesn't has any comment related the answer you are looking for.

Unfortunately I can't help you with this and there are just a few old users accessing the forum nowadays, so I hope maybe Dan could answer you.

I also found in a thread at CGTalk (which you participated) a post with something about a command (or tool) able to make a full install of the application and that at the end you just could start it by typing it name: Artists using Linux - Share your experience
