Hi! Wow, I am trying more or less the same thing, here's a screenshot:

Here's the file if you feel like taking a look (not that I mean mine is better, but comparing can always help I think):

@elabx: looking good, mate! Keep it up!
Here is a link where you can download a very good low poly model to check against! You can pay the creator with a tweet or click on the image to download the model.

Here is an warmup practice model, nothing fancy. I'll post some renders tomorrow, I'll also try to get some UDK3 renders!

About my character model, not sure if I have to continue adding more detail working on the low poly mesh or to go and sculpt all the needed details and extract the map. Any opinion would be appreciated!

It looks nice.
I only noticed the metal piece has its UVmap a little stretched.

I believe you could still be doing some adjustment to the overall shape of the body. The thighs look a bit thin to mee, and the but cheeks separation also seem a little bit to long don't you think? And there's this line crossing the body in the middle.

Cheers mate!

Hi elabx

Of course, there is still plenty of work to do. That mirror line was from blender, when I exported the mesh from wings forgot the fact that there it was a virtual mirror so when imported into Kerkythea, I got only half of it. Took it in Blender and used the mirror modifier and it gave that line. About thighs and but, based on a mesh like this, details are added, virtually "ad aeternum", so, yes, for now the thighs are thin and prolly i did a wrong work on the but.

Took a look at your file. Remember, I'm just another hobbyist, not a pro. You have triangles, which at this stage shouldn't be there. But the big problem, imho, is the head. It's better to fix it now, while is low poly.

Oh yes! I totally get that you are learning, so am I! hahaha, just wanted to be able to give some positive feedback.

Yes! The head looks horrible, that´s where I stopped haha, I´ll take a look at those triangles you are saying, thanks for taking a look! You post has encouraged me to keep on working on that model. In the end, I want to try to make it an anime-like character for games.

Here you can find a good tutorial series about creating a human character from start to finish. Is not written for Wings 3d but the workflow apply.
