I think i'm really starting to get the hang of this. I think a few more models to master what i've learned and then i'll start looking into uv mapping and texturing. In the meantime,i've whipped up another model,this time a light plasma turret.

Realized i made a minor mistake in the plasma turret model. The barrel was as thin as paper,that has now been fixed Smile

I've learned how apply materials to faces,how to use uv maps and how to apply a texture within wings itself. But it seems real texturing can't be done without the use of GIMP. So,i guess i'll have to learn how to use that too.
