Hi! I don't know also how to add gears in wings, but you can import one from blender, which has the addon (comes with it) that is called Add mesh: extra objects, only you need to enable it. Then export as obj and import in wings.

I'm sure other wings users will help you more!

I found it. I was going to create my own in wings so I started with a cylinder and in the options for the cylinder you can select gear and change everything you need too! Smile

I earnestly suggest anyone coming to Wings for the first time, even with experience in other modellers, spend about 30 to 45 minutes becoming familiar with the options available for all the primitives, especially reducing a number of default values for the principle 5. Here is an exercise I have given my students on options for the sphere:

Set preview to manual and make the following changes, updating after each change:
• number of slices to 16;
• double the Y Radial figure to 4;
• alter the X Radial to 6; and finally
• alter the slices to 1.
Reset and play around with any more variations you choose then cancel.
