The dimensions in geometry window look not equal to the dimensions in the dialog.
For exam. when I start to make a cube by the right crick, the cube option dialog say X,Y, Z values are 2.0, but in the geometry window a front face's dimensions look to be 1.5 or 1.8.
Oh, I know it's occured from the difference of divergent angles between the cube and mesh. Can we adjust it ?

Sorry, for me seems correct. Try orthographic mode (O key) before creating the cube. You should see edges parallels to the vertical edge.

Also on the view menu->Camera settings->Field of view you can adjust them if you want perspective.

Regards!
