Absolute Commands -> Scale - micheus - 03-01-2014 What we would expect by checking the "Scale whole object" checkbox? I tried it in all selection modes and it doesn't nothing for me. Or I'm doing something wrong. Also, I'm getting a crash every time I try use the MMB option. Is there someone else experiencing these things? Any suggestions? TIA Micheus RE: Absolute Commands -> Scale - oort - 03-01-2014 Micheus, The check boxes do not work as intuitive as they should. The numbers in the dialog box do not update until you close it and open again. Sometimes I get the numbers I expect and other times I do not. See this thread for a recent discussion about this... Absolute Scale Check Boxes I got a crash the first time I used MMB but now I cannot get it. The crash must happen when an invalid point is given???? Edit: If I remember right I was the one who suggested the link check-boxes. I thought it was a good way to avoid having to type the numbers when the numbers wanted are the same. Unless you can make them work better it may be better to remove them.... ![]() oort RE: Absolute Commands -> Scale - micheus - 03-01-2014 (03-01-2014, 01:48 AM)oort Wrote: The numbers in the dialog box do not update until you close it and open again.About the update the changes, almost the time I need to move the mouse over the Geo window to see them.. Thanks oort RE: Absolute Commands -> Scale - oort - 03-01-2014 Moving the mouse over the geometry window does not cause the dialog box numbers to show the correct numbers for me... ![]() oort RE: Absolute Commands -> Scale - micheus - 03-01-2014 Very strange. I noticed if we mark the "Link" checkbox for X,Y and Z we can produce the scale for whole object. Anyway, I think that it would be used in other sel mode than body - as used in Move command. |
